Jessica Starr-Rose loved to help others achieve their dreams, using her platform as a meteorologist at FOX 2 Detroit to impact the lives of many.
She truly left the world a better place than she found it, and to honor her and carry on her legacy the Starr-Rose family – with the help of the Novi Parks Foundation has undertaken a fundraising campaign to install a community splashpad at Bosco Park.
Jessica, who died of suicide in 2018 following complications from surgery, was a Novi resident and her husband Dan and two children Noah and Riley still live in the City.
Her mother Carol Starr said the splashpad is being built not just to memorialize her daughter, but as a place for kids, parents, grandparents, and friends to gather and make memories of their own.
