Frederic Duclos

When Frederic Duclos designs jewelry, he is very specifically creating pieces made for today's woman. In the design phase, he not only imagines a woman wearing his jewelry, but also concentrates on her face, silhouette, and personality. With these in mind, he incorporates every woman's sensibility into his work. His goal is to "capture the fundamental qualities of a woman's features, and complement them with refined embellishments... I constantly strive to create beautiful objects for individual enjoyment." It is with such a passionate objective that Frederic Duclos designs his gold and sterling silver jewelry. The results? Simply stunning.

This is really not surprising, given that Frederic grew up in Southeastern France as part of a family that has been designing accessories for many generations. His upbringing cultivated a deep admiration for art and sculpture, so after completing his studies in Paris, Frederic was compelled to seek out a career of jewelry design. His last year of college was spent in California and there he met his future wife Karen, who had her own background in jewelry.

The couple soon began to create high quality, creative sterling jewelry.
